The purpose of this meetup is to bring together people interested in the principles of Permaculture Design: Care of the Earth, Care of People, Share the Surplus. I have no preconceived idea of how it will evolve. My hopes are to create a place where ideas and action can come together to promote a resilient, compassionate and sustainable community.

This group is for people who want to be involved in their food chain from source to ready to eat. The purpose is to rekindle and learn the art of food from hunting, fishing, foraging, and growing to preparation, storage and consumption with a locavore focus. Each meet-up will involve one or more steps led by an expert.
