The Pensacola Permaculture Meetup
|
Meet other local people who support Permaculture design for sustainable human existence. This group is for anyone interested in gardening, growing food and eating fresh local foods in the Pensacola area. The purpose is to inform, educate and encourage local food production and the revival of home, community and family gardens. We would also like to know about and hear from local food producers in the area where we can get produce, dairy or meats that are grown locally. What is Permaculture? "Permaculture is the art and science of designing human beings' place in the environment. Permaculture design teaches you to understand and mirror the patterns found in healthy natural environments. You can then build profitable, productive, sustainable, cultivated ecosystems, which include people, and have the diversity, stability, and resilience of natural ecosystems."
